  来自埃尔福特(Erfurt)的28岁小伙子托马斯•西普纳(Thomas Hübner)(又称“克鲁索”),同时是一位歌手、写歌人以及出品商。在出版了四张专辑、并在各种俱乐部和音乐节上举办过无数次音乐会之后,他以自身不懈的激情、韧劲和对完美的追求,博得了不少粉丝对其独特风格的认同。2008年,他更是夺取了德国音乐电视大赛(Bundesvision Song Contest)的第二名。在他异常成功的、登上单曲榜单第15名的单曲《一厘米都不到》(Keinen Zentimeter)之后,他的专辑《情难自已》(So sehr dabei)更是在甫一推出即登上了专辑排行榜的第三位。2008年,德国最大的青年音乐电台“一现场”(Eins Live)将克鲁索选为年度最佳歌手。2009年,克鲁索更是在德国最重要的音乐大奖“回声音乐奖”中一举夺得“最佳国内现场表现奖”。

  Clueso (born 1980 as Thomas Hübner in Erfurt) is a German singer, rapper, songwriter and producer. Clueso, named after Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther, started making music in 1995. In 1998 he got to know his future manager Andreas Welskop and canceled his apprenticeship training in hairdressing. His first vinyl Clüsolo was released on BMG Ufa the same year. In 1999 he moves to the 10vor10-Studios in Cologne with Welskop. A year later he signs a label contract at Four Music and releases Text und Ton in 2001. Around that time he performs with Curfew at the MTV HipHop Open in Stuttgart and at Beats for Life in Cologne.

  In 2002 Clueso moves back to Erfurt and records the Rowdy-Club-Tape 2002. Another year later he starts producing his second album “Gute Musik” (featuring Blumentopf, Steer M, Tilmann Jarmer, Delhia, Tim Neuhaus and Jürgen Kerth), which will be finished by 2004. It does not contain any English tracks and concentrates on singing rather than rapping. In 2005 Clueso represented Thuringia with the song “Kein Bock zu geh’n” at the Bundesvision Song Contest. The same year he was partner of Start Ab, the ‘biggest non-commercial remix contest in Europe’.

  In 2006 Clueso released his third album called “Weit Weg” which means “far away”. Again the album was relased by Four Music. The album is changing mood and style contiuously. It varys between influences of chilled pop, soul, funk and reggae.

  Over the last two years Clueso toured with his band. They played over 120 club and festival gigs with a total crowd of 300.000.

  On the album Clueso joined forces with the likes of Max Herre (former lead singer of Freundeskreis), Flowin’Immo, New Telephatics and Razkajam.

  Der 28jährige Erfurter Thomas Hübner, aka Clueso, ist Sänger, Songwriter und Produzent. Nach vier Alben und zahlreichen Konzerte auf den Bühnen der Clubs und Festivalwiesen, mit Auftritten im Vorprogramm bedeutender Künstler wie den Fantastischen Vier (2004) und Herbert Grönemeyer (2007), sowie mit ungebrochener Leidenschaft, Ausdauer und Perfektion hat er einen ganz eigenen Stil kreiert und sich seine Fans erspielt. Clueso-Songs sind intim und gigantisch zugleich, mal laut und mal leise, eine Melange aus Pop, HipHop, Bossa Nova und Country.

  Nach 5-jährigem Bandbestehen begann das Jahr 2008 für Clueso mit einem spektakulär knappen zweiten Platz beim Bundesvision Song Contest. Nach dem Erfolg der Single „Keinen Zentimeter“ (Platz 15 der Singlecharts), stieg das Album „So sehr dabei“ gleich nach seiner Veröffentlichung auf Platz 3 in die Albumcharts ein und die Zuhörer des größten deutschen Jugendradiosenders Eins Live wählten Clueso als besten Künstler des Jahres 2008 und setzten ihm damit die „Eins Live Krone“ auf.

  Nie war Clueso mit seiner Band so präsent wie heute. Musikerkollegen aller Genres und viele Medienpartner beobachten das Geschehen um Clueso mit ungewöhnlich grossem Wohlwollen. So verwundert es nicht: Clueso wurde in diesem Jahr für den wichtigsten deutschen Musikpreis, dem ECHO, als erfolgreichster nationaler Liveact nominiert.

  LIMAN

  Techno时期就以颠覆性的节拍著称,音乐风格强劲冷酷,吸收多重风格并综合改良。2008年,他受邀为英国电子双人组Client 混音单曲《Can You Feel》,加入了她们09年发行的专辑《Command》中。曾参与多位国外电子人专辑制作。

  现场小天王,一高兴就拎着合成器上桌子。最喜欢玩神秘的资深电子人,演出必备行头为墨镜搭配帽子或墨镜搭巨大耳机。大失真玩得出神入化。合成器发烧友。电子乐创作中融入金属成分,更躁也更HI。

  R3

  17岁第一次尝试制作的电子单曲就获得了SONY ACIDplanet的获胜者,环球唱片称赞其前途无量。在澳洲知名的Conservatorium of Music大学就读music technology课程,之后R3一直从事商业电视,广告音乐的制作人,但是这样的成就远不能满足R3对于音乐的野心。有着1/4中国血统的R3千里迢迢来到上海开始了他制作人/DJ/摇滚乐手/派对组织者多重身份的生活。在一系列大牌ratatat, Bang Gang Deejays, Coldcut, Adam Freeland的合作, 逐渐受到越来越多人的追捧。R3被认为是第一批将Electro Rock/Indie Disco呈现在中国观众面前的DJ。

  不同于其他DJ在台上严肃地“操作”音乐,R3热衷于将自己抛掷于疯狂的人群之中,充满激情,不知疲惫地与观众互动,他独到的混音技术将现场带入一次又一次的骚乱。R3不只是众多DJ们中的“另一个”,他真正知道如何让一场派对high起来。

  BAIFAN

  中国电子乐活跃的一份子。08年加入中国著名电子音乐厂牌SHANSHUI唱片,并在其合辑中发表个人作品,08年参与SHANSHUI唱片首次全国七个城市巡回演出。做音乐以来始终推崇旋律化的声音,深受Foo Fighters乐队影响。2009年8月全国发行首张个人EP将带来温暖的Lo-Bit之声,特别收录日本音乐人Aonami的70's Literary Youth Remix版本,与你一起在年轻敏感的旋律中寻找Natural High.09年刚刚完成个人唱片全国六个城市全国巡回首发演出。

  Arms and legs

  Scott Daly 是个典型的美国独立音乐人,充满了对音乐的在执著与幻想。Scott Daly 来到纽约布鲁克林组建了Arms and legs。由于贝斯手经常不参与排练,鼓手与钢琴手对乐队也失去了信心,乐队最后只留下 Scott 一个人,他也成为了乐队的灵魂人物。2006年12月,摩登天空唱片通过音乐小样认识了Arms And Legs,并将其招致旗下,并于2007发表了乐队的第一张专辑。在摩登天空音乐节07上简短亮相之后,Scott返回纽约继续创作,不久遇到了目前乐队的重要成员,乐队的键盘手Brett,这个身为音响工程师和程序员的“业余”音乐家,使Arms and Legs的音乐几乎在一夜之间有了质的突变。Scott的创作才华也在突飞猛进,歌词不再是简单顺口的“小情歌”。两人如催化作用般的合作,打造了许多优秀的新作品。目前乐队正在纽约制作第二张专辑,将在不久的将来呈现给听众。

  The Toxic Avenger, a.k.a. Simon Delacroix, is an electro thrash producer hailing from Paris, France. Taking cues from intelligent hardcore and punk, all the way to 60’s pop, The Toxic Avenger brings us a unique blend of melodic rage and screaming synths that create a sonic epic audiences can lose their minds to. 
Toxic has come a long way since 2007’s Superheroes release. Where we last left off, our hero’s shimmering, distortioned riffs called for a new generation of dance staples. The colorful and hopeful single became the theme to Toxic’s rise to power, and helped shape the standards to which we have come to know in the electro community.

  Toxic is Dead, the first single from the currently untitled full length, continues to propel the ever-growing mystique of the man behind the mask.   Funky But Sleek: Nik Bartsch's Ronin: Holon (ECM)

  Swiss pianist Nik Bartsch and his neo–jazz-funk ensemble Ronin play music unlike anyone in recent memory. The group rummages through the work of a wide swath of global impresarios, ranging from trance to jazz to funk, and even stretches to embrace the ultra-refined mimesis of Morton Feldman’s oeuvre. At a recent gig at Joe’s Pub, clarinetist Sha piped out short, microtonal arpeggio bursts on his massive contrabass clarinet, while Bartsch—in the august avant tradition of John Cage’s prepared pieces—struck the innards of his piano with a drumstick. Bartsch’s concise hits provided a contrapuntal statement to Bjorn Meyer’s somber, minimalist bass line, as the music left behind its darker side and burst into a glissade of trills and tranquil tones that teased out long, thin lines of sound.

  The group’s newest album, Holon—Bartsch’s eighth CD, and his fifth recording with Ronin—embodies a sense of restrained dread, where tinkling keyboards and tippling percussion can slowly disintegrate into a simple shaking of sleigh bells. In this purely acoustic album you accelerate through a progression of notes, as the sound winds down a back alley of sensory provocations. Bartsch refers to his music as “Zen funk” or “spiritual groove music,” claiming that its stark sense of rhythm comes from his own existence living as an extreme urbanite. He likes to employ multiple rhythms simultaneously, and toy with interlocking musical themes that can be combined in an infinite number of ways. Bartsch first explored this approach with his early group Mobile, who, taking a cue from the extended sessions of composer La Monte Young, once played continuously for thirty-six hours. Though that was a stimulating and novel idea, it required tremendous amounts of time, preparation, and money. Ronin, which grew out of an ad-hoc version of Mobile, embodies a more martial-arts spirit. Bartsch, a practitioner of Aikido, admired the sensibility of the lone warrior wandering far off the beaten path, with a special “Batman–and–James Brown groove.” Finding the way of the jazz musician, with its endless horizons, too vast, and the constraints of classical composition too limiting, he took his inspiration from the composer Igor Stravinsky, who claimed that freedom is to be found within form. Bartsch’s form is born not from pure cerebral aspirations, but from the physicality inherent in movement, whether it is the movement of musicians’ fingers, the sway of their bodies, or something more specific, like the hidden coil of a martial artist. The relationship between tension and relaxation becomes key to the ebb and flow of Ronin’s individualistic sound dioramas. When Bartsch is not touring, those dioramas are developed every Monday night at the Bazillus Club, a small, intimate performance space in Zurich where he holds a residency. Unlike the United States, Switzerland nurtures its chosen creative types with perks that enable untrammeled time for composing and development: Bartsch’s previous album, Stoa, was developed and written in Japan while he was on a Wekjhar grant from the City of Zurich. That record, also released by ECM, was recorded under the auspices of Manfred Eicher, the label’s legendary founder, whose work with Steve Reich, Arvo Pärt, John Adams, and Meredith Monk won him a 2002 Grammy award for classical producer of the year, as well as nominations in the same category for 2003 and 2004.

  Ronin’s music is utterly unique—there is no other way to describe it. In a world where we are assaulted with multitasking, TV, the internet, radio, iPods, text-messaging phones, and other instruments of information overload, it is truly wondrous that such a sparse, engaging, and refined sensibility exists.   1999年乐队成立,之后饱受争议与流离之苦。先是美好的旋律被当时充斥的“金属”和“硬摇滚”所排斥,继而它所尝试和坚持的“迷幻之风”被评论界认为是“无根的海市蜃楼”。在经历了普涞、摩登天空等唱片公司的签约和解约,经历了MIDI、雪山等音乐节的磨砺之后,于2004年发表了第一张专辑《像叶子一样飞》,同名歌曲在当年迅速成为中国迷幻摇滚的代表作品。这之后,乐队继续沉沦,直到2009年在张北草原音乐节正式复出,引发巨大反响,《摇滚花》以“残酷青春”为标签,得到广泛认同和呼应,被歌迷称为“血淋淋赤裸裸的摇滚抒情经典”。新专辑《悟空》以“中国之道”为其背景,内容涉及爱与和平等重大主题,但绝不浮泛,而是如同轰炸机般在人类道德的低空盘旋,美好的旋律还在,迷幻的气质依然。

  在10月18日参加完西安“张冠李戴”音乐节后,周云山与废墟乐队开始策动年终大规模全国巡演,北京作为巡演首站,将有张楚、何勇、罗琦、二手玫瑰、谢天笑、痛仰、左小祖咒、姜昕、夜叉等众多重量级摇滚人到场祝贺。

  Au Revoir Simone于2003年组成,当时好朋友三人一有时间就会聚到ERIKA的家里,把一堆电子合成器摆到一起玩耍,最后ERIKA客厅中摆放的乐器越来越多,而在这个过程中这三个好朋友也创出了许多非常清新和独特的音乐,她们当时的主旨就是如果一首歌曲不成形,或者是听起来不完美,那么她们就一定会忘记时间的存在,直到把一首作品作的完美,然后才会去做其它的事情。

  随后AU REVOIR SIMONE乐团走出了在客厅演奏的日子,那是2004年的冬天,乐队为ERIKA的键盘老师所在的乐队担任了开场的工作,那也是乐队的第一场演出。之后乐队在美国境内开始了一次又一次的小型巡演。然后乐队吸引了唱片公司的目光,并且发行了首张专辑《Verses of Comfort, Assurance & Salvation》,该专辑在日本和英国上市引起了轰动。接下来在间隔不到一年的时间里乐队又发行了第二张专辑《The Bird Of Music》,该专辑收录了《he Lucky One》 、《Sad Song》 、《Fallen Snow》 、《Dark Halls》等著名单曲,通过该专辑,乐团走进了主流媒体的视线,同时乐团也成为了电影大师大卫•林奇的心水最爱之宝团。

  乐队随后开始了马不停蹄的大规模巡演,从北美到欧洲,再从欧洲到日本,此时,与她们一起巡演的伙伴已经成了AIR、PETER BJORN AND JOHN 等著名乐团。

  2009年5月份乐队发行了第三张专辑《STILL NIGHT STILL LIGHT》, 专辑发行后得到NME、VOGUE 、Q、I-D、NYLON 、SPIN、ROLLING STONE、Uncut 、Guardian 、Pitchfolkmedia 等全球顶级媒体联手推荐。

  Au Revoir Simone makes dreamy electronic pop music using elemental materials: keyboards and voices braid together in a warm thrum of whirring machines and soft melodies.

  Heather D’Angelo, Erika Forster and Annie Hart started getting together to play keyboards in Erika’s apartment in 2003. It wasn’t long before Erika’s living room was filled with vintage Casios and Yamahas rescued from garage sales, plus a beautiful wooden drum machine inherited from a movie set.

  The girls were fascinated by how easily composing came to them when they were together. Sometimes each would bring in her own idea for a song, and they would all work together until they agreed it felt perfect. Other times, they would play until a song emerged from hours of experimentation.

  Au Revoir Simone still writes songs in this highly collaborative manner. Because everyone plays the same instrument, the composing process can be more challenging than some may realize, but the band’s central motivation remains: music is magical. And playing it is a form of meditation — a blissful sensation that carries over to the listener.

  The group left the living room in the winter of 2004 and played their first show opening for Erika’s keyboard teacher’s band at a club in the West Village. Encouraged by the fact that it was not a complete disaster, Annie, Heather and Erika played out more and more in and around New York City. After building a local reputation as an up and coming indie trio, Au Revoir Simone started out on a few mini-tours of the United States.

  In 2005, the ladies released their debut album, Verses of Assurance, Comfort and Salvation. The album was released by Moshi Moshi in the U.K. and Rallye in Japan, and self-released in the U.S. They also took their keyboard show on the international road, playing the Iceland Airwaves festival and a run of dates in the U.K. with Architecture in Helsinki.

  In the summer of 2006, Au Revoir Simone toured the U.S. and the U.K. with fellow Brooklynites We Are Scientists. Playing live night after night helped them refine their live show. The tours also gave Au Revoir Simone and We Are Scientists the chance to become close friends.

  The next year saw the release of the band’s sophomore album, The Bird of Music. With a new record came more touring, this time with French duo Air and Sweden’s Peter Bjorn and John. Au Revoir Simone also embarked on their first headlining tours of the U.S., Europe and Japan.

  In early 2008, the band took a break from touring and began writing new material. Produced by Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Little Joy) and recorded in various studios between Brooklyn, NY, and Los Angeles, CA, the result is the group’s third album, Still Night, Still Light, released on the band’s own label, Our Secret Record Company.

  Although it features songs written by all three members, the album has a strong thematic cohesion. The more expansive arrangements of The Bird of Music have given way to a new intimacy, one that cherishes reflection, seeking, questioning and losing one’s place on the page while looking for the right way home. It also juxtaposes some of the band’s quietest moments (the glacial grace of “The Last One”) with some of its most raucous (the dizzying exuberance of “Anywhere You Looked”). Still Night, Still Light captures the band at its most exposed, relying on keyboards, drum machines and effortless voices to create a folk record without folk instruments, one that hums with resilience and wonder.

  Opener “Another Likely Story” dazzles with twinkling drones and fizzy synthetic hi-hats, while “Shadows” has a frenetic Fender Rhodes part paired with lyrics about escape. “Knight of Wands” shines with warbling organs and eagerly shares its ebullience. “We Are Here” is introspective, anchored by a kick-drum heartbeat and a glowing background pulse, and “Tell Me” sees Au Revoir Simone experimenting with tempo shifts more than ever before. With so many electronic components, the album gives off heat; within the songs lies a radiance that is instantly familiar.

  Au Revoir Simone’s music has appeared in Grey's Anatomy, Ugly Betty, the Justin Theroux film Dedication and in numerous other TV shows and movies. The band is especially excited to count David Lynch as a fan — Annie, Erika and Heather met the legendary director while performing at a book reading in New York City. Lynch later brought Au Revoir Simone to Paris to perform at the Fondation Cartier during an exhibition of his artwork.

  In addition to their music, Annie, Heather and Erika are widely recognized for their inimitable sense of style and involvement in the fashion world. The band has appeared in features for periodicals such as Vogue and The New York Times Magazine, and has worked with fashion icons including Kate Spade, agnès b. and Isaac Mizrahi.

  Au Revoir Simone harnesses simple musical pleasures in order to craft an enchanting 3D world of texture, narrative and sound. Like the dialogue in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure that inspired the group’s name, Au Revoir Simone’s music is the heartfelt result of the three girls following their dreams.

  In the US state of Minnesota lies a small town called Owatonna with roughly 22,000 inhabitants. Within that city is a quiet road with a modest house. In that house there’s a messy basement with no windows. That’s where you’ll find 23-year-old Adam Young aka Owl City hard at work perfecting candy-coated electro-pop, like a hipster Willy Wonka.

  From within the “cave” of his parents’ basement, as Adam likes to call it, he has begun to quickly win over a large audience thirsty for something genuine, melodically infectious, and uplifting. The same adjectives could easily describe Owl City’s first official full-length album – Ocean Eyes – which is soon to be released by Universal Records in China after becoming a #2 bestseller on iTunes earlier this year, and was recorded in – you guessed it – his parents’ basement.

  Just in time for their 10-year anniversary, MONO return with their fifth studio album, the absolutely massive Hymn To The Immortal Wind.

  After touring almost non-stop for five years, the band hibernated for over a year to focus solely on writing Hymn. The result is their most thoughtful and eclectic album to date. Written and arranged with a hopeful, romantic narrative in mind, the songs string together like chapters in an epic love story. The music is naturally majestic, with MONO’s trademark wall of noise crashing beautifully against the largest chamber orchestra the band has ever enlisted. The instrumentation is vast, incorporating strings, flutes, organ, piano, glockenspiel and tympani into their standard face-melting set-up.

  Recorded to analog tape with long-time friend and producer Steve Albini, there is an intimacy captured here that is at once beautiful and a little terrifying. The creaking of old wooden chairs as the orchestra rocks in their seats (both literally and figuratively), puckered lips rolling along flutes, and even the conductor’s opening cue can be heard during the hauntingly quiet opening moments

  While Hymn continues to mine the cinematic drama inherent in all of MONO's music, the dynamic shifts now come more from dark-to-light instead of quiet-to-loud. The maturity to balance these elements so masterfully has become MONO’s strongest virtue.
